End cruel wait for real justice
Daily Mirror UK
|July 10, 2025
THE BIG ISSUE A bombshell report into the Post Office Horizon scandal has revealed 10,000 eligible claimants across its compensation schemes. The shocking miscarriage of justice saw sub-postmasters accused of stealing due to the faulty IT system. At least 13 people are thought to have taken their own lives over its impact. You say...
THESE sub-postmasters have gone to hell and back for egregious crimes they did not commit.
It is beyond tragic that 13 people took their own lives and many contemplated it and that honest individuals were ostracised from their own communities.
Sir Wyn Williams delivered a grave and damning report as to the human cost and the malefactors should indeed feel the force of the law for subjecting innocent sub-postmasters to this gross injustice. I wonder how they have slept at night all these years?
