EAGLES TIMING THEIR TAKE-OFF TO PERFECTION

EBERECHI EZE believes he and Crystal Palace are peaking at the business end of the season again, and they can achieve something special.

Only champions Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea picked up more points than Crystal Palace over the final 10 games last season.

Yet the only thing the Eagles had to crow about was finishing above fierce rivals Brighton in 10.

Palace have taken a Premier League-best 13 points from their last five games and that has seen them narrow the gap on the Seagulls to four points with a game in hand.

But as Eze pointed out: “We're not really focusing on them.”

Oliver Glasner once again has his side finishing the campaign like a train. Qualifying for Europe is a real possibility, with an FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa later this month.

Eze added: "It's something quite special. We've got a lot to achieve this season.

“We believe that we can do it and the mentality is to keep going, keep pushing to see what we can get.
