Judge blasts lack of help for killer mother who smothered her son, 5

A JUDGE who jailed a killer mum said her case was "truly heartbreaking" and one of the hardest she had heard in 30 years.

Claire Button, 35, admitted smothering son Lincoln, five, with a pillow.

The jury was told she heard voices saying she and her non-verbal autistic child "didn't belong in this world".

Before the killing, she dialled 999 begging for help but was told that she would have to wait 10 hours.
