Dean's a star to me
Daily Mirror UK
|November 22, 2024
DEAN McCullough's mum says he is a winner in her eyes, despite his repeated struggles in the show's trials.
The Radio 1 DJ, 32, last night only managed four stars in the Lethal Lab before saying "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!", so he could be removed from the challenge.
It was the second time he had uttered those words in three trials and followed getting zero stars in the Drown in the Dumps task with internet star GK Barry.
But his mum Ann, 55, says he is trying his best and thinks Dean would be criticising his trials performance, too: "The trials have been tough and he'll be beating himself up over it.
"He just needs to remember to do his best and have fun. I'm so proud of him. He is so loved and we are all cheering him on."
