VAL DANCER (2.40) hit the jackpot last Christmas when landing the Welsh Grand National and he will get some practice over Aintree’s iconic fences in this 3m2f contest.
That Chepstow victory was his fifth over fences and he has now won half of his 10 chase starts.
His prominent racing style is well suited for the Grand National course and he is at his best on testing ground.
With rain forecast, conditions could easily turn in his favour.
