Le Bris' believers show they are up to scratch as they pick off Cherries

HIGH-FLYING Sunderland will head to Anfield on Wednesday bullish about their prospects of inflicting another damaging defeat on the champions.

There is a collective belief running through Regis Le Bris’ squad right now which turns the impossible into possible.

It is that same inner strength which saw Sunderland transform a two-goal deficit inside 15 minutes into another hugely impressive win at their Stadium of Light fortress.

Little wonder Bournemouth looked shellshocked on the final whistle, in stark contrast to the elation which swept over them after Tyler Adams’ wondergoal had added to Amine Adli’s opener.

In past years a two-goal deficit after quarter of an hour on a rainy afternoon would have been the cause for untold misery on Wearside, but not now.
