Movie props go under hammer

A STAR Wars C-3PO head and a harpoon gun from Jaws are the highlights of a forthcoming blockbuster auction of Hollywood props.

The light-up droid head from 1980's The Empire Strikes Back is expected to fetch up to $700,000 (£538,462).

And the harpoon used by Quint (Robert Shaw) and Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) in Spielberg's 1975 classic has a top estimate of $500,000 (£384, 615) in the Propstore sale.
