Bomb injures Israeli soldier as Netanyahu vows reprisal

AN Israeli soldier has been wounded in an explosion during a flareup of violence in Gaza, leading to claims Hamas has violated the ceasefire.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would “respond accordingly” after the blast in Rafah on Christmas Eve.
But Hamas has denied responsibility, suggesting the bomb had been left over by Israeli forces.
Hamas also reiterated its commitment to the ceasefire deal.
