'Bloodthirsty' pair jailed for life for dismember murder

A TWISTED couple who fantasised about eating human flesh before killing a woman and scattering her body parts have been jailed for life.

Builder Steven Sansom, 45, was out of jail on life licence for another murder when he killed Sarah Mayhew, 38, and dumped her remains.

imageSansom and his partner Gemma Watts, 49, admitted murder and perverting the course of justice by dismembering Sarah's body at his home before dumping the parts at various locations, the Old Bailey heard.

Mrs Justice Cutts told the court yesterday: "She was an innocent woman lured to that flat to die in order for you to both act out your bloodthirsty and wicked fantasy."
