£15bn giveaway of energy tech is hailed biggest upgrade in history
HOUSEHOLDS could slash their energy bills by hundreds of pounds in a £15billion giveaway of solar panels, heat pumps and batteries.
The Warm Homes Plan - billed as the biggest property upgrade in history - is expected to take a million families out of fuel poverty and cut bills for five million homes in just four years.
The poorest will not pay a penny for heating upgrades worth up to £12,000, including solar panels and battery.
