Defamation claim against pop star's dad will proceed unless he says sorry

LIAM Payne's friend says he refuses to drop his $10million defamation lawsuit against the late singer's dad unless he gets an apology.

Roger Nores, 35, had faced a manslaughter charge over Liam's death, but judges this week reversed the decision.

However, the businessman says his defamation claim against the pop star's dad Geoff is still ongoing. Roger said: "The lawsuit in the US is going to stay until the apology.
