Gateway College, Colombo continues to soar in badminton, thanks to the phenomenal achievements of two of its rising stars, Rashmi Mudalige and Vishwanie Wanniarachchi at the prestigious MBA All-Island Open Badminton Championships 2025, held in Colombo. Their outstanding performances lit up the courts and brought glory to their alma mater.

There was no stopping Rashmi Mudalige, who stamped her authority on the tournament with a stunning Triple Crown sweep, a feat that places her firmly among the island's badminton elite. Competing against over 1,200 players from across the country, Rashmi showcased not only technical brilliance but also nerves of steel.
