GLOBAL RECOGNITION FOR CUTTING-EDGE CONTRIBUTIONS IN CARDIAC SCIENCE FOR SRI LANKAN BORN BRITISH CARDIOLOGIST

British cardiologist Dr Yanushi Dullewe Wijeyeratne gained international acclaim at the European Society of Cardiology Annual Congress 2025 in Madrid.
Invited to chair sessions, deliver lectures, and appear on the ESC TV channel, she presented the latest research on atrial fibrillation, inherited arrhythmias, and lethal cardiac conditions.
British cardiologist Dr Yanushi Dullewe Wijeyeratne received international recognition at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Annual Congress 2025 in Madrid, held from 29 August to 1 September.
The congress, held alongside the World Congress of Cardiology, is the world’s largest cardiology conference, and this year marked 75 years of advances in cardiovascular science by the European Society of Cardiology.
