Sri Lanka has been officially withdrawn from the ongoing Netball World Youth Cup (NWYC) 2025 by the Gibraltar competition committee after failing to report to Gibraltar, England, by September 22.

The tournament is now taking place from September 19 to 28 with the participation of 20 countries.

In a statement World Netball said: “Due to circumstances outside of their control, World Netball has unfortunately withdrawn Sri Lanka and Zambia from the remainder of the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup in Gibraltar.”
