LB Finance champions coastal conservation in Colpetty for World Environment Day

REINFORCING its longstanding commitment to environmental sustainability, LB Finance PLC has launched a large-scale coastal conservation initiative along the Colpetty to Bambalapitiya shoreline in celebration of World Environment Day 2025.
-
Held under the theme of “Restoring Urban Coastal Ecosystems,” the event commenced on 5 June at 9 a.m. near the Colpetty Railway Station. This impactful program was conducted in collaboration with the Clean Sri Lanka Environment Protection Program, a Government-led initiative, and brought together a host of public and private stakeholders to promote ecological restoration and biodiversity.
