Jayasuriya to decide future with SLC this week

FOLLOWING Sri Lanka’s exit from the T20 World Cup semi-finals, a lot of noise has been made about the future of head coach Sanath Jayasuriya in the media saying that he would quit his post. However nothing official has come forth either from Jayasuriya himself or for that matter Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).

“We have been reading media reports of his resignation but he has not told us anything officially.
We would be having a meeting with him on Wednesday or Thursday about the World Cup overall and also about the going forward part of it,” said Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley de Silva.
