THE Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) recently welcomed the Government’s launch of the ‘100 Days Digital’ program at the unveiling of INFOTEL 2025, reiterating its full commitment to support this ambitious initiative.

The program is designed to accelerate digital transformation across Government services, education, businesses, and startups, and to strengthen Sri Lanka’s journey towards a $ 15 billion digital economy by 2030.

FITIS Chairman Dr. Dayan Rajapakse said: “The FITIS welcomes the Government’s bold and visionary ‘100 Days Digital’ program. We pledge our full support to accelerate digital adoption, empower businesses and startups, enhance education, and strengthen Sri Lanka’s position on the global digital stage. Together, we will build a digitally empowered nation and move decisively towards a $ 15 billion digital economy by 2030.”

The FITIS emphasised that the ‘100 Days Digital’ initiative represents a historic moment for Sri Lanka. It is an opportunity to implement measurable digital initiatives with immediate results, while also laying a foundation for sustainable long-term growth. The Federation highlighted its active role in supporting the Government across multiple fronts to ensure the program delivers significant impact.

INFOTEL 2025 remains a central focus for the FITIS during this period. The event serves as the national ICT platform to showcase innovative solutions, foster collaboration between the Government, industry, and academia, and provide actionable insights for digital policy and implementation. INFOTEL 2025 will highlight emerging technologies, best practices, and successful digital adoption case studies, demonstrating how technology can improve governance, business productivity, and citizen services.
