CINEC Campus marks 35 years of excellence in higher education

ESTABLISHED in 1990 to address Sri Lanka’s maritime training needs, CINEC Campus has grown into one of the country’s leading higher education providers. Over the past 35 years, the institution has produced thousands of graduates who contribute to both local and international industries. Today, CINEC delivers a broad portfolio of academic and professional qualifications supported by advanced facilities and strong international affiliations.

CINEC operates across eight faculties: Maritime Sciences, Marine Engineering, Engineering and Technology, Management and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Science, Computing, Humanities and Education. Together, these faculties offer more than 200 programs, ranging from certificates to postgraduate degrees, with an annual enrolment of approximately 22,000 students. This structure allows the institution to serve a wide range of career pathways while maintaining consistency in quality and professional readiness.
