AN international sports event at the St. Joseph’s College Stadium required that we enter the premises from the swank Nelum Tower (Gate C) and walk along the picturesque trail at the backend of the Tower, along the Beira Lake.

The lake itself looks clean enough and is quite exquisite though the water quality may not be good enough.
