ACCESS Solar Ltd, Sri Lanka's leading provider of photovoltaic (PV) solutions, is marking its 25th anniversary this year.
Founded in 2001 with a mission to provide sustainable energy cost-effectively, Access Solar has since evolved into a leader in renewable energy, delivering leading solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and rural electrification needs.
Over the past 25 years, Access Solar has achieved numerous industry firsts, cementing its reputation as a pioneer in Sri Lanka's solar energy sector. From introducing Sri Lanka's first standalone DC domestic solar PV system, 1MW in 2016 at Finlay's to commissioning the country's first 10 MW roof top solar project at the Michelin warehouse in 2024/2025 and 5,000 religious places around the island with 5kW systems totalling to 30MW, Access Solar has consistently been at the forefront of clean energy solutions.
