GAVIN And Stacey star Ruth Jones has shot down hopes that the hit sitcom will return for a Christmas special.
It came a day after a US report claimed the cast would film the episode in the summer. But Welsh actress Ruth, 57, who starred in and created the series with James Corden, 45, said it was "sadly a rumour".
She said yesterday: "If there was something to say on that front, James and I would happily announce it, we would."
