OLLIE LAWRENCE laughed off Fin Smith's revelation he is the fly-half's hero ahead of the pair linking up at Twickenham on Saturday for the Calcutta Cup clash against Scotland.
The England duo, who played for Worcester before the club collapsed in 2022, were big noises on the youth scene in the Midlands youngsters.
Centre Lawrence, now 25, was carving it up for Bromsgrove School while Smith three years his junior - was at Warwick School.
Lawrence played for England Under-16s and U18s as a schoolboy and Smith revealed last week the midfielder was his idol then, and later when Warriors were struggling.
He forced his way into the England Under-20s side and made his full debut in 2020, against Italy, only increasing Smith's man crush.
