VAN DIJK INSISTS REDS ARE AWARE TITLE NOT DONE YET

VIRGIL Van Dijk believes that Liverpool's mentality will never allow the team to take their foot off the gas in the title race.

- By John Cross

Liverpool are 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League, despite their 26-game unbeaten run coming to an end with Sunday's 3-2 defeat by Fulham.

It would take a miracle for second-placed Arsenal to catch their rivals with just seven matches left.

But Van Dijk insists the players will ensure that losing at Fulham is no more than a blip.

The Reds face West Ham at Anfield on Sunday, and Van Dijk says his team will be fully focused on a big reaction to get them back on track.

The Liverpool captain said: “We have to make it work and we will.

“We'll be training quite a lot and we are in a very good position but games like Fulham, especially in the first half, show the job is not done and I've been saying it every week.
