"Trusted' son who fell out with parents wins £2.3m farm battle

A BUSINESSMAN who fell out with his parents after they did a deal over a pub lunch to buy a farm together has beaten them in a court fight over it.
The three "got on well and trusted each other" before the 2002 agreement - but that soured and resulted in father Ivan Preson threatening to turf out his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
The pact was struck after Ivan had been very ill. Son Sean, 56, and his wife Janina decided to go halves with him and wife Wendy so the younger couple could help care for his parents.
