Trump denies election tampering before riot

DONALD Trump has pleaded not guilty to trying to overturn the 2020 US presidential election result in the run-up to the January 2021 Capitol riot.
Trump's case returned to court yesterday after a nine-month delay.
It was frozen in December as Trump pursued an appeal on immunity grounds.
Backing him, the Republican-led Supreme Court ruled in July that a US leader had broad immunity from prosecution.
