Troubles law 'unravelling' as Adams threatens to sue

LEGISLATION to deal with the legacy of the Troubles is “rapidly unravelling”, Tories claimed, after Gerry Adams confirmed he will sue.
The ex-Sinn Fein president intends to mount a legal challenge to the Northern Ireland Troubles Bill.
It seeks to stop him, and others who were detained without trial, seeking compensation based on a judicial decision that ruled their internment unlawful on a legal technicality.
Shadow armed forces minister Mark Francois said: “The Government’s Northern Ireland Legacy strategy is rapidly unravelling, within 48 hours of being announced. They finally dropped their bonkers proposals to help Gerry Adams sue the Government and now he's suing them anyway!"
