Trans row nurse to fight on over rejected claims
Daily Express
|December 12, 2025
NURSE Sandie Peggie has vowed that she will not give up her legal fight after her partial employment tribunal victory against NHS Fife.
Ms Peggie's solicitor confirmed that she will appeal the tribunal's judgment, which upheld her claim of harassment but dismissed allegations of discrimination, indirect discrimination and victimisation.
The nurse was suspended from her job at a Kirkcaldy hospital's A&E department after she complained about Dr Beth Upton a biological male who identifies as a woman using a female changing room.
Critical
Ms Peggie was speaking for the first time about Monday's judgment at a media conference in Dundee yesterday. It came after it emerged parts of the ruling were amended following claims by one of Ms Peggie's supporters that it contained a "fake quote".
