Tragedy of Spitting Image star of comedy

A “LEGENDARY producer” and comedy writer who worked on eight series of Spitting Image has died after an accident abroad.
Bill Dare, who was 64, wrote and produced programmes for TV and radio, and created Dead Ringers, a comedy impressions show for BBC Radio 4.
He also produced The Now Show, a satirical take on the news which ran on the station from 1998 to 2024.
