DRIVERS in the first town to scrap 20mph speed limits after a backlash say most people never stuck to them anyway.
DRIVERS in the first town to scrap 20mph speed limits after a backlash say most people never stuck to them anyway.
They were introduced on “restricted roads” usually in built-up areas across Wales in September 2023.
But the Welsh government agreed to let local authorities change some roads back to 30mph. The first two near Wrexham overturned the 20mph limit earlier this month following a public consultation — the B5605 in Johnstown and the nearby A525.
