Toon reject Reds’ £110m bid for Isak

LIVERPOOL have fired the opening shots in their bid to land Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.
While their initial offer of about £110 million fell well short of the Magpies' £150m valuation of the Sweden star and was swiftly rejected, that will not deter the Premier League champions.
Newcastle's official stance is that Isak, below, is not for sale but the situation is complicated by the fact he has made it clear he wants out and has set his heart on a move to Anfield.
The 25-year-old is training with his own fitness team at the home of his former club Real Sociedad, in Spain.
