MICHAEL CARRICK hailed Bruno Fernandes after seeing him break a record belonging to David Beckham in Manchester United's crucial victory against Aston Villa.
Captain Fernandes set up two of United's goals in the win, which strengthened their grip on third place and saw them take a huge step towards Champions League qualification.
It took the Portugal star (above) to 100 assists in all competitions in the Premier League era, while overtaking Beckham's United record of 15 in a single season, set in 2000.
