Palhinha has some naked truths for his Spurs team-mates after late saver

- BY STEVE JUDGE

JOAO PALHINHA had some comforting words for Wolves boss Vitor Pereira at full-time - but not for his Tottenham teammates.

Thomas Frank's midfield enforcer has become a 'Portuguese man o' score', following up his overhead kick in the Carabao Cup with a 94th-minute leveller on Saturday night.

You have to go back to August 2021, and his spell at Sporting Lisbon, for the only other time he has netted in back-to-back games.

And while Palhinha celebrated his late equaliser by wildly ripping his shirt off, that feeling of jubilation quickly gave way to one of disappointment.

The Bayern Munich loanee zeroed in on the anxious response to Santiago Bueno's 54th-minute opening goal as something that has to change.

Palhinha said: "When we suffered the opponents' goal, we dropped a lot. That's the truth, but we always fight until the end to try to get a point.
