"I can't believe what a difference it has made, it's not only stopped the pain, it has turned my life around."

"This amazing gel has completely cured my painful knees!"

CLAIRE MORRISSEY never imagined that one day she'd struggle just to walk to her garden gate.

But that's exactly what happened a year ago when Claire, 56, a marketing manager from Bath, started to suffer from stiff and painful knees.

"I couldn't understand it. I hadn't had an injury or a fall, but the pain was quite sudden and severe and completely debilitating. Some days just walking to my car was agonising and it was horrendous walking downstairs. It was so frustrating, when just a few months ago I had enjoyed long weekend walks and only last year I completed the Jurassic Coast 100miler on the South Coast. How quickly life can change!" she says.

Two months after the pain in her knees began, Claire was diagnosed with osteoarthritis - a condition that both her mother and grandmother had suffered from too.

"The pain started almost overnight. My knees were so sore, even without walking very far. Of course, I had to stop my long weekend walks or doing any sort of exercise. It was so demoralising, especially as I have a demanding job and was finding it hard to sleep at night."

Claire tried to manage the pain by taking supplements and resting her legs as often as she could, but nothing seemed to soothe her sore knees. After six months of being inactive, she'd gained a stone, and was finding it really hard to cope with the constant pain and her limited mobility.
