Spin king 'Deadly Derek dies aged 78

CRICKET legend "Deadly" Derek Underwood, one of England and Kent's greatest bowlers, has died at 78.
Flags were lowered to half-mast yesterday at County Championship matches in his honour after the news.
Kent CCC chairman Simon Philip said the county is "in mourning following the passing of one of its greatest ever players".
He added: "Derek was an outstanding contributor to Kent and England, etching his name in the history books.
"Watching Derek weave his unique magic on a wet wicket was a privilege for all who were able to witness it.
