Spend kids' inheritance before Reeves taxes it all

FINANCIAL advisers are urging pensioners to draw more income from their retirement pots to escape Chancellor Rachel Reeves' planned inheritance tax (IHT) raid.
In her Autumn Budget last October, Reeves announced plans to impose IHT on unused pension pots from March 2027.
Today, there is no IHT to pay on defined contribution pensions, although if the policyholder dies from age 75, beneficiaries may pay income tax on withdrawals.
