Spall tribute in the words of Churchill

VETERAN actor Timothy Spall kicked off the VE Day commemorations in London yesterday by reading extracts of Sir Winston Churchill’s victory speech to the nation on May 8, 1945.
Standing in front of the statue of the wartime Prime Minister in Parliament Square, the star, 68, who played Churchill in The King’s Speech, addressed the crowd.
Echoing Churchill, he said: “My dear friends, this is your hour.
