Song can be a big hit for Wathnan Racing
Daily Express
|July 30, 2025
SING US A SONG (1.20) can be the first high note of a treble for owners Wathnan Racing in the Coral Pipped At The Post Winners Handicap on day two of the Qatar Goodwood Festival.
James Doyle's mount blew his chance with a slow start in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot - but finished the race in eye-catching fashion.
The 19 runners were stretched out rounding the home turn, where the Ralph Beckett-trained colt had them all to pass.
Looked after by Doyle once it was game over, Camelot's son is still well-weighted on that showing and this event is not as strong by any means.
