Soldier F murders verdict next week

THE verdict in the trial of a former paratrooper accused of the murder of two civilians on Bloody Sunday is expected to be delivered next week after an application for the case to be thrown out was dismissed.
The veteran, referred to as Soldier F for legal reasons, is accused of the murders of James Wray and William McKinney during a civil rights protest in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, 53 years ago. They were among 13 people shot dead by the Parachute Regiment
