LINSEY SMITH was thrilled to play a starring role as England opened their Women's Cricket World Cup campaign in style with a dominant 10-wicket win against South Africa.

The Proteas were bowled out for just 69 in Guwahati and Smith was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with 3-7.
