ARNE SLOT admits he will be “uneasy’ if he has to bench Mo Salah again this season - but would feel the same about dropping any Liverpool player.
Salah returned for the Reds this week when playing the full 90 minutes of the Champions League win at Marseille on Wednesday, having been on Africa Cup of Nations duty.
It was the 33-year-old’s first Liverpool start since late November, with an initial spell on the bench prompting a controversial outburst from Salah after being unused for the 3-3 draw at Leeds United in early December.
The forward claimed he was being made a scapegoat for the Reds’ poor autumn form and had “no relationship” with Slot (below).
