Outgoing coach targets trophy
KEVIN SINFIELD is desperate to leave England with some silverware as he starts the long goodbye to his Twickenham post.
The assistant coach was no stranger to trophies during a legendary playing career in rugby league, winning seven Super League titles, two Challenge Cups and three World Club Challenges with Leeds Rhinos.
As a coach in rugby union he collected the Premiership crown with Leicester in 2022, as Steve Borthwick’s assistant, but has drawn a blank with England in his year on the staff.
He is out of the door after the summer tour to Japan and New Zealand, citing personal reasons, and is aiming to start his exit on a high in the upcoming Six Nations.
