Supersub saves point as perfect run ends
THE wait for Manchester United goes on.
But at least they salvaged a point with Benjamin Sesko's 96th-minute leveller, which was straight out of the Fergie Time’ playbook.
It broke West Ham hearts and could not actually provide the fifth straight win that United have waited so long for. No one went home happy - not even Sesko.
He said: “I was not happy with the draw as we deserved the win. We are working together and always fighting.
“Today was important to get a draw. They were dangerous on the counterattacks.
“When difficult moments come, we are sticking together.”
However, West Ham are showing signs of life and fight, even if they could not see this one out for the precious three points they needed.
