Wolves remain grateful for gift from former manager
WOLVES may be going through a tricky patch on the field.
But former manager Nuno Espirito Santo is remembered for what he did off it as much as the success he enjoyed in the Black County.
He will be assured of a warm welcome when he returns to Molineux tonight as manager of Nottingham Forest.
He is remembered fondly in the West Midlands because of the time he stood tall when the city of Wolverhampton was distressed.
The Portuguese struggled during the Covid pandemic as he was apart from his family for long periods.
But he returns knowing the £250,000 he gifted four years ago to the club's 'Feed our pack' the drive has been well spent.
Nuno said: "I've been back and contacted person responsible for it.
