Russia denies Assad's wife wants a divorce

London-born Asma seeks return to UK
THE Kremlin has denied reports that the British wife of deposed Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad has filed for divorce and wants to return to the UK from Russia.
Asma al-Assad, 49, is exiled in Moscow with her former Damascus despot husband but sources in the Middle East said she is seeking a move back to London.
The former first lady is reportedly unhappy with life under President Vladimir Putin.
She is now said to have applied to a Russian court for permission to leave Moscow for Britain, though it remains unclear if she would be allowed here.
