Robbed watch dealer 'should not have been alone' in store

A WATCH salesman who is believed to have taken his own life after a robbery "should never have been alone" in the store with so many expensive items on display, bosses have said.

Oliver White, 27, was placed in a chokehold by an attacker as a second man stole several luxury pieces.

The total haul is believed to have been worth around £2.8million.

Watch retailer 247 Kettles, in Richmond, South West London, issued a statement online yesterday.
