Foxes boss excited to pit his wits against Guardiola
LEICESTER manager Ruud van Nistelrooy issued a bizarre battle cry ahead of a daunting trip to Manchester City.
After a run of 13 defeats in 14 games, the Dutchman could have been forgiven for fearing the outcome of a clash with Pep Guardiola, right, and his Premier League champions.
But following two weeks of work on the training ground during the international break, Van Nistelrooy was in an unusually buoyant mood.
Leicester's awful form has left them nine points from safety, but Van Nistelrooy said: “We have a great run of games.
“It's a privilege to plan for matches against Manchester City, Newcastle, Brighton and Liverpool.
