Reeves: You'll have to suck it up on planning

RACHEL Reeves yesterday agreed that people will have to "suck it up" when it comes to the building of new houses, pylons or solar-energy farms.
The Chancellor admitted "tough decisions lie ahead" as controversial planning decisions are rammed through even if they face opposition.
Ms Reeves said drastic action needed to be taken to wean Britain off imported energy when she was asked about a massive 2,500-acre solar farm, Europe's largest, which has just been given the go-ahead on the Cambridgeshire-Suffolk border.
