Reeves 'told twice about licence'

RACHEL Reeves was warned by a second estate agent that she would need a licence to rent out her home, despite her claims that she had no idea about the requirement.

The Chancellor claimed she had not known about the licensing rules in Southwark when details about her South London home emerged last week.

In a letter to the Prime Minister she wrote that she and her husband “were not aware” that the certificate was necessary.
