Reds set to pass £300m landmark with Ekitike deal

LIVERPOOL will take their summer spending close to £300million when the signing of Hugo Ekitike is sealed in the next 24 hours.
They are unlikely to stop there, either.
It was always the plan to bolster Arne Slot’s squad - to help retain the Premier League crown and have a crack at the Champions League in the upcoming season.
Many are questioning how the Reds are doing it, with forward Ekitike set for a medical today before his £79m move from Eintracht Frankfurt.
