AARON LOSING FIGHT TO BE NO.1
AARON RAMSDALE knows exactly the words he wants to hear ahead of the north London derby on Sunday.
In an ideal world, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will announce: "We have two fantastic goalkeepers and today we have gone for Aaron.
"Like in any other position, we have to decide and that's what we decided today."
Arteta uttered those words on September 11, 2021 to explain why Ramsdale had just usurped Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno from his No. 1 spot within weeks of joining from Sheffield United as his understudy.
